Kingswood Construction Site Secured Within Hours of Storm Damage
In the early hours after a violent thunderstorm ripped through Dunwoody’s Kingswood neighborhood, high winds toppled 120 linear feet of temporary fencing across two active luxury home builds. Rain-soaked soil turned the site into a muddy hazard, and without perimeter control, equipment sat vulnerable and inspectors couldn’t safely access the lots. With new foundation pours scheduled for the next morning and neighbors already calling the city about open access, the contractor faced costly delays and compliance exposure.
We dispatched a two-person crew and a flatbed loaded with welded mesh panels from our Chamblee yard before sunrise. Working through slick conditions, we reset posts, anchored new bases with concrete footings, and re-secured all entry points using tamper-resistant hardware. By 10 a.m., both sites were fully compliant and ready for inspection. The build schedule stayed on track, and the general contractor avoided a cascade of subcontractor rescheduling.
They had the site locked down before our coffee got cold—now that’s emergency response.
